Bivol already said he'd come all the way down to 168 for the fight. Canelo giving him a catchweight is a favor. But we already knew the haters were gonna be mad regardless .......canelo bout to add another great victory to his legacy

It's different when you're giving someone short notice and saying I want a catchweight but we need to have the fight in September. That's a disadvantage to Bivol. Not to mention Canelo has fought at 175 before w/o a catchweight. AND he is the one that has to manage his weight to get down to 168. He can easily make 175.

I want good fights, I have no problem with him fighting Bivol. But this is unnecessary bullshyt to give himself the edge. He don't believe he can beat him straight up at 175 if they fight in a month. That's all this means. He more than welcome to come in at 170 himself, that's still LHW. That's on him.
