Canelo is making more money vs plant than he did in either golovkin fight. Matter of fact his purse guarantee in this fight is 8 times bigger than the guarantee he got for the golovkin rematch. 5mil vs 40. So when you say it's the biggest fight out there for him, in what aspect?....cause it's obviously not money. And it sure as hell isn't legacy.

. Do you honestly believe beating an over the hill golovkin again does more for canelo's legacy than becoming the first undisputed champ in 168 history?....

Iono about that argument since the GGG fights contributed to Canelo being able to demand the type of paydays he gets now, same way the Mayweather fight contributed to how much he got paid to fight GGG. It seems like he basically got that DAZN deal in hopes they could get another GGG fight
the cool thing i guess is we can see if this plant fight sells more than the GGG fights. If Canelo sells over a million like those fights then kudos to him and this fight maybe really is a bigger fight than the GGG fights I guess. Right now that seems like a ludicrous claim but numbers won't lie....
You keep saying GGG is a hype job when he arguably beat Canelo (in public opinion) and literally tied with him at least once so what sense that make :mjtf:
Even Plant is out here using the ammo that Canelo had to eat Mexican Meat in order to prep for his rematch against an "old hypejob", cmon yo :dead:

I'm talking strictly as far as canelo's pockets are concerned. Not even ppv buys. Even without ppv buys canelo will make more money in this plant fight than he did in that golovkin rematch. So he doesn't need golovkin for any type of big payday. He's already getting em.

But you also didn't answer my question about what another golovkin victory does for canelo's legacy?....since we already have the numbers to show it's not doing anything more for his money. Does it do more for his legacy than being the first unified champ at 168?....does it do more than beating Charlo or benavidez?.....we already know the answer to that. The haters will just say he beat a washed up fighter. So in essence beating golovkin again does absolutely nothing for canelo's legacy at this point.

I wouldn't even be opposed to another fight if golovkin actually unified his division and proved he was still an elite fighter. Cause then it would actually mean something. But he's not. He wants to sit on his ass and chase bums while canelo is out here fighting champions. If golovkin beat Charlo and Andrade 100% I would be down for another fight. But he won't. And we all know it. And the media will continue to give him a pass just like they did his whole career.

And yes. Golovkin will go down as being overhyped. It's not even arguable. It doesn't mean he wasn't a great fighter. But we're talking about a guy who was being placed on all time lists ahead of fighters like winky wright. So yes. Golovkin was way overhyped. And we can just look at his resume to see that. He was the media darling for most of his career. And if canelo was being placed on top 20 lists when his best victory was a controversial decision over Daniel Jacobs then he would be overhyped too. Golovkins resume does not live up to the praise he received by the media. And that's the very definition of being overhyped. Even max kellerman who was on the same network as golovkin agrees with that.

and as soon as a fight is confirmed, he has a wrist injury that warrants him going under the knife....ppl arent trying to hear that lol
