History might show that Manny didn't want to submit to OSDT... but it will show that when he agreed to the OSDt back in 2011 anyway(over a year before the Roidquez KO), Floydie switched up and refused to copromote wanting 100% control over any possible revenue made from a fight with Pac... History will show Floyd chose greed over legacy, it will show Floyd asking for catchweights after publicly discrediting another fighter for doing the same thing..

History is not that detailed except to the historians. We are talking in generalities how it will be remembered and the majority wont remember that Manny agreed to testing....only that the main stumbling block for the negotiations was that he initially refused.

You can say Floyd chose greed over legacy but Manny gave him an out. He can pull that card all day and there is no disputing it. In the meantime, Floyd's career has continued to ascend while Manny's is on the decline. He has a much shorter prime than Floyd has had. He was merely a blip on the radar during Floyd's 16 plus year career.

All I am saying is....you dont want to tarnish your legacy unnecessarily. You and I may remember the catchweight and the 60/40 negotiations....but most will not....nor will they care when we try to break it down to them when explaining what really happened.

Just read that Tim Bradley/ Juan Manuel Marquez on Oct. 12th is an HBO PPV fight.

Who is gonna pay $60 to watch that fight (except Mexicans, they support all their fighters)?

We need to get rid of the PPV model ASAP. It's outdated.

Also, Bob Papa is leaving HBO's "Boxing After Dark" series. Jim Lampley will now do play by play for all HBO fights.

well marquez is coming off his career best victory over a top P4P fighter and tim is coming off a gutcheck victory from a war that's now the leading candidate for fight of the year...its a PPV worthy fight to me :manny:...they need to make sure that undercard is on point though

also, even before the marquez knockout, there were few ppl who even believed that pacquaio had a chance of winning:yeshrug:. even the ppl who said floyd was scared were picking him to win, and ppl who know boxing know pacquaio's style is taylor made for floyd. ppl will say what they want about floyd in the future, but no one is putting pacquaio over him in the ALL Time list

dats what happens when you overplay your hand:yeshrug:
he should saw how floyd bowed down to oscar and took note

pacquaio asking for random blood testing Against RIOS is like floyd saying he don't want Random blood testing against canelo.

Manny ego got inflated by Oscar bending all the way over for him, little did Manny know Oscar was simply stealing a pay day from from his fighter and eating off his ass double fold before Manny was free from his GB obligations..............

Oscar one who is known to lay down and job also created a Floyd nemesis by giving a half assed performance, thus creating a much needed nemesis for Floyd to continue to build heal heat

:ooh:

Dude on twitter said possibly Rosado vs Cotto:ehh:

Ortiz needs to fight the winner of Maidana vs Lopez....getting a W vs one of them could get his career back on track

ortiz v cotto? Hmmmm i prefer ortiz v Guerrero.

I believe the plan is to have Cotto face off with the winner of Angulo-Lara, with Cotto's people preferring Angulo.
