I keep getting the feeling that we gon see something dramatic in that Dawson/Stevenson fight. One of them nikkas gon get put to sleep or catch a bum fights type beat down.
Don't seem like anybody interested in seeing if Gamboa can make it through a fight without getting dropped.
This might be the rare moment where I actually watch the HBO card live and catch the Showtime card on the dvr.
At least for me, I just wanna see him fighting names on a consistent basis. Salido and De Leon were good fights for him and he dominated for the most part, but then obviously the whole Top Rank situation didn't help.

in a way you can say it did. losing a fight of that magnitude just cant happen without some casualties and collateral damage. some chins have to be checked...as well as pockets. HBO made some mistakes and they are trying to right the ship before its too late. They are talking about closing their whole sports division. Will they do that? I dont know....but to the big wigs at the top....it may not be worth the time for them. Time Warner's M/O is to make the most while spending the least.

I've watched a few Stevenson fights and his left has stoppage power but he's very crude
He's rushes in to attack but he gets tied up easily and his inside game is not very good
That's where I think Chad will hurt him and stop him unless Chad has another mental lapse

Dawson changes trainers like babies change diapers smh. Alot of his issues as a fighter stem from that, hence why he has always struggled with his in the ring identity.

Maidana is a small dude, which is why I'm against him ever fighting over 140 unless he just can't possibly make weight....but he's not physically built for 147 IMO
