Rigo has fought on a few :deadmanny: ppv undercards N his fights weren't boring at all

They should have him fight in Miami get that Cuban fan base following him N put him in against an opponent that will make it entertaining

It Top Rank for gods sake that's wtf Arum does match his champs against fighters that'll make em look good:russ:

arum don't give a fuk bout rigo. it makes perfect sense but he didn't even do this with gamboa.

Arum: Garcia Should Forget 126, Go After Martinez - Boxing News
By Elisinio Castillo, notifight.com

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum has advised former champion Mikey Garcia (31-0, 27 KOs) to forget about the featherweight division and look full steam ahead at gaining a title at 130-pounds. Arum would like to see Garcia face WBO super featherweight champion Roman "Rocky" Martinez (27-1-2, 16KOs).

BoxingScene.com reported on Sunday that Garcia vs. Martinez is being discussed for a September date. Last Friday Garcia lost his WBO title at 126 after failing to make weight. He was two pounds over, but easily knocked out Juan Manuel Lopez in four rounds the following night in Dallas, Texas.

After beating Lopez, Garcia told told reporters that he would consider another fight at 126, a move that Arum would discourage.

"Garcia has a bright future. He has to fight at 130-pounds," said Arum. "He can not continue to sacrifice his body to make 126. Hopefully he faces 'Rocky' Martinez."

There you have it folks...no Mares bout of course and holding your breath for Chris John is like waiting for a National Boxing Commission

However, Martinez has had this ass whooping coming since getting a HORRIBLE gift decision draw against Juan Carlos Burgos

Garcia, taking out overrated Puerto Ricans, one at a time :smugdraper:

Earlier today, the IBF ordered Light Heavyweight Champion Bernard Hopkins to make his next title defense against newly-crowned #1 contender Sergey “Krusher” Kovalev of Russia. On Friday, Kovalev scored his 9th impressive knockout in a row with a third round demolition of Houston’s Cornelius White on the NBC Sports Network’s critically acclaimed Fight Night series. “When the IBF issued today’s letter, ordering Hopkins to fight Kovalev next, without granting any exceptions to Hopkins in the interim, everything changed,” promoter Kathy Duva of Main Events, said. “Kovalev has many opportunities, now. We are going to take a few days to evaluate and then decide upon the next move. Of course, Sergey would be thrilled to face Hopkins if Bernard wants the fight.”

Kovalev is surely ready, willing and able to fight Hopkins. “I want to fight Bernard Hopkins because he is a legend of boxing,” Kovalev said after knocking out White. “It was good news that Hopkins and Karo Murat fell out. C’mon and fight. I’m ready. Are you ready?”

I cant believe Jeff Lacy is coming back:snoop:

For what? The money?

He's 36 years old and was washed up 5 years ago.

He was 1-3 in his last 3 fights and last won a fight in 2009:scusthov:

This dude was Jermaine Taylor's only win in a 5 fight span from 9/2007-10/2009 when he went 1-4

Was Roy Jones 2nd win in a 6 fight span from 11/2008-5/2011 where he went 2-4

And he lost to Dhafir Smith:damn:

How do you lose to a fighter who either lost or tied 26 of his career 49 fights before he fought you:mindblown:
