overall, i was disappointed in broners performance. i think he thought looking at the cano fight of paulie, he was gonna come in and ko him without a problem. broner just abandoned the jab, and didn't do enough body work, which i thought coming into the fight he would start off doing in the early rounds. i would have liked to see him set up the right hand alot mroe than just throwing lead rights and counter rights all the time. he got away with it this fight.

Hatton and Khan obliterated Paulie and Broners struggles vs a lesser version of Paulie, I'm scratching my head wondering whether Broner is even a B class fighter at this point

Canelo is wayyyyy too big for Broner and Broner JUST jumped up two weight classes

I think Paulie won, but Broner did land more power punches. I think judges sometimes are swayed by the effect of the punches moreso than landing clean punches. I took from this fight, that Broner is still too easy to hit and power didn't carry up to 147 cause Paulie never really backed up off him. I can't see how Broner landed more punches when he threw way less. How do they measure compubox anyway? Is it a person counting punches? I think he loses to a boxer who has decent pop in 140/147 if he don't improve his D

Guerrero beats Broner from pillar to post with his relentless pressure, as I see it, he pretty much a sub par fighter when hes not walking forward and being pushed backwards, he'll be moving back all night vs the ghost

Alexander boxes the shyt out of him and outwork him also

AB's lack of unsportsmanship was uncalled for. Paulie was whispering in his ear like "lets keep it professional, you won and thats it". AB showing that his a$$hole persona is NOT an act.

Pros

• Even though he is not a great fighter, he has potential to be but he needs a lot of work. If he wants to be like FMJ, he needs to hire FMS or Roger.
• He has a lot of options currently and will likely be able to get a title shot at 140
• He wont fight many fighters with the handspeed of Paulie
• He is with Al Haymon

Cons

• He is not ready to stay at WW.
• He is not as good as Floyd was at the same age.
• He will have a tough time with the top 140 guys.
• Crawford definitely beats him at 135 if he displays that same style he did against Paulie

Fight pretty much went how I expected ...I had Broner winning but it was close 117-111 tho

I thought Broner would be able to hurt N wear down Paulie more then what he did

AB vs Maidana, Ortiz, or Guerrero next would be decent

They would NEVER throw Broner in with Guerrero or Alexander yet. I can't imagine they'd even give him an Andre Berto. His best bet would be picking off some guys at 140 or hiding at 135 for a while longer. The problem is he has A class fighter talk, promotion, hype, and pay, so they can't hide behind his age at this point anymore. He's GOING to get exposed or show us he's truly elite in the next few years, 24 or not.

Regardless of weight class. And Adrien just climbed two weight classes to get this fight with Paulie.
