I get what Paulie was saying about the better politically connected fighter getting the nod and Tom Schrecks card was a joke but my dude you lost that fight...
Had it 8 rounds to 4 for Broner and imo it wasn't a difficult fight to score...Paulie's volume punching was largely ineffective but it got him those early rounds because Broner wasn't letting his hands go...when Paulie's work started to taper off around round 4 it was easy work for Broner from then on...His combination punching was extra crispy and every punch he caught Paulie with knocked his ass back...
Anyways Broner just set himself up with that poll shyt...He better hope his stans vote for Kell Brook because he ain't built for Maidana or Matthysse...

paulie landed next to zero clean punches on Broner's face though, a lot of his punches hit broners wrist and elbows.
why? because he has a belt that is damn near worthless. the IBF gave him the belt back after the roids. This is not Dawson vs Stevenson. Dawson was linear champ and moved down to fight best guy. Peterson probably didnt need to have that belt at all...even still....its not like he went up or down and lost to a legit champ...he lost to a guy in his division in a non-title fight. (the 1lb means nothing)
This is not a good look to me for AB. It would almost be like picking on Peterson. Peterson needs a good win before a Broner fight makes sense.
I think your scoring is fair, to hear some of these guys on here, Paulie didn't win a single round. I think Paulie had a problem with the judges scoring, not the decision.
I was shocked that they were making that much but the center was actually full
@SuikodenII IMO Broner was content countering Paulie while talking trash and letting Paulie know he couldn't hurt him
I don't think Broner tried to KO Paulie. I think he just tried to up stage him. He never pounced on Paulie when he had him staggered
This was the first fight I've attended and it was mediocre
Broner will not be fighting at Welterweight his next fight.
He gets hit to much and Paulie is the only light hitter ranked in the top 15
You should have known it was going to be a mediocre fight with Paulie in there. He's not a big puncher and he's hard to KO. How was the rest of the night? I haven't been to Barclay's yet.

I have no problem with Paulie's comments. He said he didnt have a problem if someone scored a point or two in favor of Broner. He just said 117-111 was a sign of political b.s. It wasnt an excuse...Paulie been yappin bout Haymon leading up to the fight...and lets not act like Broner was gonna lose this fight. There was absolutely NO WAY he wouldve lost. He is the heir apparent to Mayweather and a huge meal ticket. He cant get derailed on his way up the ladder.
Paulie just speaking out on what we all know is true. There are house fighters, house judges, house promoters, etc.... just because its on Showtime doesnt mean things have changed.

It would be great rewards...but Broner's activity rate is just not good enough against top guys at 147...maybe not even 140. his activity rate is not that great because his timing and speed arent up to par yet. With FMS he would be much sharper and better.
Just dawned on me that Broner said he would put this shyt on world start.
