Rewatched Haney and Garcia and honestly I think Dev won this fight

Ryan only won round 1 and the KD rounds, was getting out boxed every round other than that, round 6 he started ok with that flurry but did nothing else that round

I had it 113-111, the judge who scored it a draw had it the closest

One judge had 115-109, that’s crazy

once you get put down 3 or more times in a fight without returning a KD it gets harder to win unless those other non KD rounds are super clear

I think people was just so shocked Dev was getting caught that it distorts our memory of the fight lol

the problem devin was shaky and hurt for the rest of the fight once he got tapped with that left hook..some judges do look at that too

I say the 7th he was shaky, shoulda been a 9-7 round, they both was clinching way too much throughout the fight


But nah I def don’t think it was as bad as we remember @Apollo Creed said; think the championship round knockdowns made it look lopsided

Dev spent the whole fight recovering from my memory yet was still winning rounds, it's just the optics of a nikka doing the stanky leg a few times that overshadows this (whether fair or on fair). In Retrospect it says a lot Ryan couldn't put Devin Away which is amplifies the fact Devin should not have been getting caught like he did because Ryan is not on his level skill wise. Ideally if they both make it to the rematch folks should make some good money betting on Devin.
