Paul Williams left 147 before any big fights could realistically happen there. I suspect it had to be the weight, but his team wisely marketed as “he’s leaving because these guys don’t want to fight him.”

If he could have stayed, he would have eventually converted from high risk/low reward to a draw that everyone is calling out. Thats the way boxing works.

He still went on to have a solid career.

David Benavidez's resume

- Anthony Dirrell
- David Lemieux
- Caleb Plant
- Andrade
- Gvozdyk
- Morell

Not lights out amazing. But, Ehh I'd say that's decent :ehh:
Canelo stan shyt
I wouldn't put him in the P4P list but acting like he ain't fight anybody is kind of crazy, especially considering the person who would have been the big name that got him on everybody P4P list ducked him for years. All things considered Benavidez handled being iced out about as good as you can and even moved up to continue elevating his career beating another "boogeyman" while doing it. Now that he linking up with Turki it should be a clear path for him to keep getting big fights. He was willing to fight Bivol but Turki wanted that 3rd fight more
