The fact of the matter is Turki started this he sent both an offer at the same time so this wasn't any side seeking smoke. It was stated Turki informed Devin if he wants to work with him there won't be any easy fights and that's where they went down the list of Boots then Norman after Ryan canceled himself out.

The fact of the matter is that Devin already put out a hit list directly after the Ramirez fight and Norman was already on it. Ryan, Boots, Teo, etc. didn't want to dance, Norman took the offer. So nobody was looking for an "easy fight".

The idea of Turki and the Normans "backing him into the fight" or that he didn't want it, is bullshyt and made up by the same chatty patty hate brigade that Porter been leading.
