I like Shu Shu as a person, he seems cool but that nikka knocking on 30 and don't look elite. I can see Cool Boy cooking his ass
I hate to be this way because I actually like Fulton. But which Fulton is going to show up? The one that went to war with Castro or the one that took Figueroa to school.

granted I want to see Schoolboy active which will tell us the true story, I feel based on how his interviews were dude was battling depression after the Inoue loss, and had the "do I still got it energy" when he came back, seems now he is back "on" but who knows its only been 2 fights

Word on the street is Davis setting to retire? :dwillhuh:
Davis has lost his pop the last 18 months, maybe its headbangers, maybe its age, maybe it was his layoff in the joint.

Boxers and MMA fighters often retire and then un-retire, in order to cycle PEDS without WADA / USADA being on their neck.

It's a loop hole.

Top Rank's system was just openly exposed by Arum himself who mentioned that Jared Anderson was exposed because he was offered above market money for a fight that he got exposed in , he basically admitted that they wanna build highlight reels feeding people to highly touted prospects

If you read between the lines what he is saying here is that he'd have rather Jared Anderson not received the high offer so that he could slow burn him into some more development via feeding him people he is matched up to win against

That's crazy. I forgot who mentioned it, but someone said that Oscar De La Hoya was doing the same thing with Zepeda. Get him an undefeated record for as long as possible to then feed him to a big star at 135 or 140 and make big money off if it

Interesting to see Top Rank's business practices. Basically have elite matchmaking then "cash out" on that fighter. That's cold

No wonder Top Rank never liked Bud or Shakur. It is hard to cash out on them. They are essentially "too good" in that they are not household name marketable, fighters duck them, and very hard to make other Boxing stars to fight them. Basically a promoter's nightmare lol

When you consider how many gave up their sense of faculties in business with this man he is far more exploitive than Hugh Hefner ever was :banderas:

Seems like Turki is saying no to this

The world has too much wealth to waste our life not having the big fights :ehh:

I knew he would lose that fight. Either by late stoppage or decision. (and yes the video is still posted of my prediction BEFORE the fight). I knew he would lose the moment he said he doesn't respect Inoue's power. I said right then months before the fight, "it's over already.."

Another thing is that Top Rank has a history of fighters getting too big and leaving them and that's why they don't like creating superstars. They were actually holding Floyd back and when he bought out his contract, he exploaded after the De la h0mo fight. Once De la Hoya became larger than life and contract renewal came up, he left. He was already big coming out of the olympics winning a gold medal and he got that extra push with Top rank that Vernon Forrest, Mosley, and Chris Byrd didn't with their companies. I don't think Top Rank wants to let any fighter get too big anymore
