What's Eddie incentive to move Boots like this?
IIRC Boots has a purse minimum, it's possible Matchroom is losing money with these matches no one wants. If Boots was some big PPV star maybe it would make sense to keep paying him $3-5mil to fight these level opponents, but that's not the case
Isn't it in Eddie's best interest for Boots to take one of these Turki fights if it means a 8 figure payday. Starting to think this is Boots inner circle fault, they get paid regardless

they gotta do these fights in Philly due to the low overhead + numbers they can do there. The Lima dude signed on for 250, and undercard will be a bunch nobodies as I think all the decent names have fought or are on upcoming Ring Cards. Pretty much Matchroom can't afford any unifications or fights that are 60/40 or higher unless Turki subsidizes it.
Virgil at least is taking the street fighter route where its like ok Turki keep giving me a pool of people to pull from and I will take them on.
In retrospect I really feel if Boots wasn't on that tune up shyt he could have gotten the Co-Main spot on Bud vs Canelo and that could have been his coming out party

Forgot this is going be in philly. I was at the first fight and it was lit, but heard the second fight at wells fargo was less successful. this fight will probably be a dip from that. Even people in philly are getting sick of his opponents

Yeah folks getting tired because of how much they boosted up Boots with the Next RJJ talk and how literally any name mentioned for the last 3-4 yr Boots Cult was like he beats them in 5 or some wacky shyt lol. It's a reason they afraid to take Boots to Vegas shyt they could at least do an ATL fight or Houston to keep propping Boots as The Black American Champ. You got a ton of Black Predom Cities with decent sized Arenas that you can have boots circulate between Vegas and Ring cards.

You honestly think Thurman has more power and pop.than the guys Fundora has already fought? Thurman isn't knocking him out. I'm taking Fundora by TKO. Thurman will do well but when Fundora starts to pour it on he will go into survival mode and the accumulation will be too much.

That fight was a classic!
Holmes said in an interview that he was knocked out cold after the punch and the only thing that made him get up was that his head his head hit the canvas and woke him up smh lol

Thurman definitely has the pop, the extra weight and whatever time off/surgery he had has seemed to return a lot of the power he lost. Jarvis, his last fight, was a can BUT Thurman still knocked him out AT a higher weight. Fundora is Taylor made for Thurman, counter ability, combination punching with power, AND accuracy are all recipes for disaster for Fundora, the only thing he has going for him against Keith is height and reach. Evey other box Keith has checked over him IMO. I can see Keith easily timing Fundora after a minor download, dude with those long arms has a longer delivery time on his punches and he doesn't always send them straight. Keith will Crack him before they get a chance to land on him.

It would be hilarious if Boot's team was the one that "leaked" the news of a fight with Vergil Ortiz in January/February just so fans can get off their back and be ok with this fight with Lima
