Nah, I gotta add to some of this

There were plenty of regulars in here that post/post that thought Spence would win & stop Crawford. @patscorpio & I were among the very few that were very vocal in saying Spence wasn't the same from the Swift Garcia fight & that he'd lose even if he wasn't damaged. There used to be a whole ass Spence groupie movement for years that overrated him & with some vets that did too lol. It's one of the reasons Pat trolled the hell out of their statements where some caught feelings lol

absolutely...hell even i was guilty of overrating spence and bought into the hype...i thought he would be top welter on the PBC side...that ended completely with the porter fight...porter is somebody i always say if youre that guy you should be able to clear him...porter's style of fighting drove me crazy .. at the time kell brook was the only fighter i felt that showed a very clear level over porter. thurman went life and death in a classic fight...broner, devon, paulie, and danny garcia were decisively beaten by him..i felt that spence should be able to beat and stop porter...instead i see porter fighting like he had the devil in him and lighting up spence and punching him around the ring at times..thats when i was like dude's on the same level as everyone else

Anyone with a pair of eyes could see that Spence was drunk, blind, and crippled from the car accident. The only people that cry about this are Crawford Stans, because they believe somehow acknowledging this diminishes his win. It ain’t his fault Spence was drunk driving like a damn fool. Spence was out here looking like AB is right now, and Crawford put him down like he was suppose to. I wish Crawford would have knocked him out the ring on some Hasim Rahman shyt. It was a waste of my time that I will never get back.

If a fighter chooses to go into a fight less than 100%, that’s on them. It’s all part of the game.

See this is where I get off the bus because three things happened after the accident that people skim thru like it isn't a big deal but people made a big deal of it back then.

1. He beat Danny Garcia. He wasn't his dominant self but he got the job done and Garcia never looked like he was in the fight.

2. He absolutely destroyed Ugas, aside from that one shot he took. Ugas was never in that fight. This fight is when nikkas was saying Crawford didn't have a chance against Spence.

3. nikkas, Spence included, didn't like the way that Kenny Porter handled the stoppage for Shawn that night, which gave nikkas even more ammo to use against Crawford.

nikkas wasn't even talking about skill or strategy. It was always "Spence is gone break his will".

So nikkas can miss me with that accident shyt. That shyt didn't get as loud as it did until after he got beat the fukk up.

Bud never gonna forget that shyt pbc did to him. And he's 100% justified. They really tried to blackball him cause they knew he was gonna end the Spence hype train. Wouldn't even acknowledge his existence on their programs. Haters really tried to excuse it by saying he should have signed to pbc. He was over at top rank making 4-5 million guarantees to fight Khan and brook. Meanwhile Spence and porter made 2 million guaranteed for their fight.....porter and Keith got 1 million


Bud was on his own making more money than all them PBC dudes. And don't forget, it was Terence Crawford who got him and Errol Spence 25 mil guaranteed money. Spence said he was ready to accept the unguaranteed contract.....but bud stuck to his guns and refused that bullshyt. Them guys at PBC had zero business sense. Terence Crawford had to go over there and teach em how to respect themselves

Pat, me, & a few others were the vocal minority as the Swift Garcia fight aired saying he didn't look right & was reacting weird. But the Spence brigade refused to see this. He was dominant in beating him but definitely seemed off

And bro, you can't just brush that off the fact he was hurt by Ugas lol. The same Ugas Jorge Linares of all fighters that said dude couldn't punch or even hurt HIM lol. The same Spence that took CLEAN shots from Kell Brook & Shawn Porter & was never more visibly hurt till Ugas cracked him with a couple clean right hands. That fight sealed the deal for me that he wasn't the same but most here & in the media ignored it

Now saying all that, to me, it doesn't take ANYTHING away from Crawford for beating the brakes off him because Spence still & always had serious defensive issues & was bound to get stopped from counter punchers like him & Thurman who can actually punch. Same goes for Puss N Boots who's team look like they're aware of this & moving him like he just turned pro lol

But he deserves full credit especially for dominating Spence the way he did

PBC and Top Rank have different business models. PBC pays their fighters lower guarantees with the potential to make significantly more in PPV sales. Top Rank is the exact opposite, as they paid their fighters higher guarantees.

Porter vs Thurman wasn't even ppv. It was on regular cbs. And they still only got a 1 million guarantee. That's nuts.

The fact that Spence was willing to accept that crazy unguaranteed contract lets me know he been getting robbed blind. Those guys didn't know their worth. First it was canelo who came over and put the hammer down. They tried to low-ball him for the plant fight and he told em to kick rocks. Then they finally came to their senses and gave him what he demanded. Then bud came over and did the same. I highly doubt any of them PBC guys ever told Al haymon No. They just accepted whatever was presented to them. Haymon had them guys in check like nothing I ever seen.

And as you can see, bud is the one worth close to 100 million now while all them PBC guys prolly not even worth 10. Cause he always moved his own way and knew what his value was.
