Roy had one of the most disappointing resumes in real time. Nyggas thought it was so cool that he was gonna hoop and fight Eric Lucas on the same day, while I thought it was sad. This is what we are resorting to Roy?

The combination of athleticism, steroids, and carefully handpicked opponents is a significant part of Roy’s career that isn’t really talked about because he lost 17 fights. He tries to rewrite history because he lost so many fights.
Lmao...Roy Jones would absolutely massacre Bivol, Beterbiev, and Michael Spinks

:mjlol: The same way he massacred a handpicked, 9 loss, past prime 35 year old Glen Johnson that was brought in to be a tuneup?

What the hell is Roy doing fighting a man at that time that has 9 losses anyway? A cherry-pick that backfired. Knocked his dumb ass out.

Youre comparing the worst version of Roy Jones to peers? Is this guy kidding?

I saw a Prime Roid Jones damn near get put to sleep by De Valle. That nygga? The same nygga that go frustrated that he hit a nygga after the bell? Which Roid we talking about? Or the one that got KO’d by Tarver, the man responsible for making him “shot”?

Was just thinking, pretty much all the marquee names are tied up at 54

Vergil might take the Spence fight next, Fundora is tied up with Thurman early 2026, Baraou's fighting Zayas, B-Murta's fighting Josh Kelly at the end of January 2026, that leaves Boots out of the mix for a little bit

I hope the boxing gods align him vs B. Murta soon which would be the most fun fight & probably the best stylistic matchup at 54

I'm not a fan of the fight but I understand it's a money fight for both. I'm giving Ortiz way more leeway than I would Boots because he just fought & beat 3 solid guys in the top 5-10 in the division

A tuneup fight is risky for Spence. He may very well lose it. He’s too unprofessional. Might as well go straight into a big money fight. If he loses he atleast gets paid. Besides Spence don’t believe in tune ups.

I don’t expect Spence to ever return though. Dude is completely done. I expect him to hint at returning but never fully commit to it, unless he becomes broke. He’s probably drinking as I type this.

Now I do agree if he ever were to come back, a tune up is the way to go but these guys don’t respect the sport nor take their career seriously. Let that nygga go through a training camp of drinking, partying, and listening to yella beezy. Feed him to a nygga serious about their craft.
