I mostly agree with that except i think Madrimov is the one person who can argue they deserve a rematch. He was never dropped by Bud and only lost by 2-3 rounds on the cards. All the other "close" fights either ended in KOs or had multiple knockdowns and wide cards

That Madrimov fight was so weird, but it was still fun to watch. The way Madrimov fought, was the only time he fought like that in his career. For instance, when he fought Vergil Ortiz, he threw 400+ punches, when he fought Crawford he threw 250. Guess it's a sign that you have to be extremely disciplined and patient to even have a chance to make it competitive with Crawford. But I will forever thank Madrimov, because that chess match type of fight allowed Canelo to think he had a chance to beat Crawford, and signed on that fight because of it. Thanks Madrimov :blessed::salute:

No rematch needed. Crawford won clearly. No controversy whatsoever.

If people legit thought Madrimov arguably won, sure, but that wasn’t the case.

It wasn’t a controversial decision nor is there a big payday to even justify a rematch.
