one thing about this..it was a hell of a time for british boxing ..but with the exception of eubank...everyone else at least made a splash on the world level on the american side in some fashion

lewis obviously self explanatory
bruno - fought tyson twice and beat mccall
benn - ko'd barkley and g-man

but eubank...he was a world class fighter that stayed largely on the domestic level for whatever reason..its a shame

Yeah I watched it, shyt was a great documentary. I'm a big Lennox Lewis fan, so I instantly watch anything he's in. Love seeing his come up
I also did like the Chris Eubank Sr section, because I thought he was a straight weirdo, but this documentary made him seem more human and normal lol

It's only so long people will stop believing in you pretending to be the "Monster" when it's obvious Benavidez is ducking Beterbiev

- 6 months ago Benavidez said "there was never a negotiation to fight Beterbiev"
- Then it came out a report that "Benavidez won't fight Beterbiev if there is not a belt on the line"
- Bivol had his back injury/surgery this year. And reports are that Bivol is having a fight in March/April with a comeback fight from injury. The so called Trilogy was no where near happening anytime soon. Benavidez had loads of opportunities to fight Beterbiev
- Benavidez cuts his post game interview short against Yarde to announce that he's fighting Zurdo, which literally came out of nowhere
- Lonne B: "It's obvious they trying to wait Beterbiev out until he's like 42/43 years old. They want to wait him out because they are not confident he can beat him yet"

Benavidez is doing the media trick because he knows he can fool the American/UK media with double talking and selling wolf tickets, because Beterbiev has a relatively low fanbase on this side of the world and does not have the connections to media and does not perfect English. Stop ducking!!!

• Beterbiev was scheduled to fight Nicholson, (which inversely could be called ducking by Beterbiev, by your reckoning). This fight was then cancelled when he quietly tested positive for banned substances. (As per Dan Rafael, who is perhaps the most reliable, neutral, independent boxing source in the sport these days).
• Beterbiev has fought consistently against other opponents so far, more often than not, at a weight class higher than Benavidez.
• Beterbiev has no belt, nor no definitive promotion at this stage outside of Top Rank (currently more of a promotional segues company until they re establish their network or platform capacity).
• DAZN/Saudi/Alishikh have no time for the brutish, pugnacious, ignorant behaviours of the Chechen/Kadyrov regime and hecnmen whom accompany Beterbiev at all his fights. Remarkable to think there's a more despicable group in boxing aside from the Saudis themselves lol, but it's true.
• Benavidez has fought once on DAZN/Saudi and primarily for PBC prior to that fight. Top Rank is traditionally not a matchmaker with PBC more often than not.

Beterbiev is old news. Benavidez has bigger money fights, against boxers with belts. I'd argue Bivol team would prefer not to fight Benavidez just yet (if ever), and perhaps vice versa. Without a belt Beterbiev has no value outside of internet tough guy points and incel types.

Beterbiev already called him out years ago and they didn't want it. David can't handle that type of pressure and power. And he has very thin skin. Look at his face after every fight. He swells up and bruises very easily. They're gonna wait for beterbiev to be out of the picture or until he's completely washed. There's too much risk involved. David would never be the same again after taking that type of beating. Even if he somehow pulled out the win, he's still gonna go through absolute hell. That's why they ran to cruiser to take a fight nobody asked for.

I'm really not invested in the discussion, but why would they run away from a fight that wouldn't materialise as it is? Beterbiev has no belts and has no Saudi backing? aka its a fight that only incels champion to happen?

Also, there's a huge point that keeps being omitted. Beterbiev is quietly banned from competing currently.

Just a small issue.
