damn boxing is a brutal sport

I wouldn’t necessarily put this on boxing. People from other sports or non athlete get Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. The real issue here is his family stealing from him. I don’t remember if it was posted in here but that light skinned son was funneling money into a shell company and wasn’t paying his bills and was one of main if not sole reason Tommy lost his house!

I get that but you don't get put on a conservatorship unless said person is too diminished to manage his own affairs the way he should. Tommy Hearns is very diminished and it is because of boxing. We have to keep it real bro. It's fukked up his family is taking advantage of him left and right. they wouldn't do that if he was more sound of mind.

In THIS case yes it’s more likely his illness comes from head trauma but my point is there are many more people than not with the same illnesses who face elder abuse and financial exploitation that never set foot near a boxing ring or football field. I didn’t post this as a warning of the pitfalls of boxing lol, only to highlight how one of our legends is being treated. One thing I will say is Tommy is generally revered as a good guy and a lot of people have love for him thankfully.
