Murata def was spirited...but there was a lot of nonsense talk i remember during the fight about how murata being equipped to take GGG's shots..but he got broke down eventually..you can't let GGG hit you like that...legendary chin and punch resistance from GGGThat is a painful round to watch. The only thing keeping Murata going was pride and the fear of shame.
Can't remember specifically but rnd 4 - 6 Golovkin looked in a bad way, internal bleeding perhaps. Was certainly a fight of stages, Murata looked on top for a fair chunk of it.
to this day i still cannot understand how the fukk this happened
"Man this guy was really talented, I should have rooted for him when he was in his prime"

It was Herbert & Don who made Ali signed it.Classic fight!
This fight and the Holmes vs Holyfield fight made the Larry Holmes haters be like"Man this guy was really talented, I should have rooted for him when he was in his prime"
Larry got so much hate for beating up on an old Ali. As a big Muhammad Ali fan, I've never hated Larry for beating up Ali. It was Ali that signed the contract![]()
It was Herbert & Don who made Ali signed it.

Ali gave away a lot of his money to anyone that came to him lol. He made like 60 milion and had like 1/3 of it left in retirement. Don and the Nation they used him..Don absolutely stole from Ali in that Holmes fight..but his last wife Lonnie cleaned up his finances and drove away the leeches and stuff..without her he prolly would have had serious financial issues.Facts. When Ali retired after the Leon Spinks fight in 1978, I wish he would have dropped all his contacts away from Boxing. And I'm sure they stole most of his money after retirement as well![]()
such a shame...hurd is the one who took too much in this fight while lara is a whole world champion in the year of our lord 2026...boxing![]()
Stylistically Hurd was never going to have a long career while Lara has enough skill to stick around past his prime.
Edit
Just saw someone pretty much say the same thing.
