marquez looked really good tonight. he look like he got that old man strength on alvarado. them shots definitely had him backing up.
i think alvarado really needs a soft touch and some time off. this man last 3 fights been wars. they have had an effect on him- you can't take a beating and then go right back to that.
his problem is he's knows how to box but he has too much heart when he gets caught. he tries to engage too much after getting hit like his philosophy goes out the window. he's a brawler at heart that has to force himself to box. this was a fight he fell behind too early, so when he got going it was loo late.
i think this version of marquez might beat manny again, i'm not sure if i want to see though. it probably would be another great fight but 5 times though, is excessive. they really need to squash this promoter cold war, it would be so many great fights from 140 to 160, sucks for the fans.
that 1st fight was cool too- dude finished him nicely with that combo. good fights
