yall acting like he was dead tired or some shyt..If he was so winded why did he land more punches? get multiple knockdowns? Krusher made dude leave with a broken rib and nose..Also its not like they wanted Agnew he was quick replacement you know what fight was going to get put on right?...Yea vs Stevenson! But dude found out who HBO were going to put him up against and decided:lupe: "you know what? Im all about the money now..see yah!" and proceded to pull a cartoon roadrunner to showtime! straight MEEP MEEP :pachaha:

Be real I just want the fight if adonis were to beat kovalev Ill give him all the props in the world..But the way adonis been looking quickly leaving and poppin shyt hiding behind twitter..Dude comes off as a bully who doesnt like being bullied and freezes up when faced with some who could throw them thangs back!

But what can you expect from some one.....:sas1:

Who KO suckerpunches females...:sas2:

What a load of bullshyt. Agnew wasn't a late replacement. The Kovalev/Stevenson fight was targeted for fall at the earliest. They wanted them both to fight in the spring to build up the fight more.

All this talk about running to Showtime is so fukking stupid. HBO had matching rights. If they want to go on and on about what a big fight this would be they should be willing to compensate them properly. Kovalev is happy fighting bums for peanuts though so :manny:

stevenson isn't exposed..pretty much the biggest thing on him before the fonfara fight is that he does have a suspect chin thats known...dude's lone loss is a one punch KO to a journeyman who doesn't even have a .500 record..and that was because dude took advantage of superman's trait of keeping his hands low....having more losses of that nature after would have prolly validate an exposal...stevenson hasn't been close to being in trouble until the fonfara fight and it took fonfara 9 rounds to find his chin after he already scored 2 KD's and was tiring from all those punches he threw
Let's not forget that journeyman put Ward on his ass and nearly took his and Kovalev's zero.

It sounds like you're UNDERRATING Stevenson. What MAJOR reasons do you have for BHOP beating hopkins? It's a 50/50 fight but to say BHOP has MAJOR advantages is blasphemous, cmon breh

The fact that Stevenson has weak defense, a questionable chin, below average footwork, no head movement, holds his right hand really low at points, is open to counter punches, etc......those are all advantages to Bernard Hopkins.

Stevenson is gonna be open all night like 7-Eleven for clean punches to the face breh:manny:

You mean Darnell Boone.....the same journeyman that KNOCKED OUT and beat Adonis Stevenson?:dead:

Ward and Kovalev beat him on their 1st try, Stevenson got knocked the fukk out and had to get a rematch against the boxing equivalent of Dwayne "Gillberg" Gill:umad:

That was wayyyyyyyyyyy to easy:sas1:

Breh, that same journeyman KO'd :cape: in only 2 fukking rounds.....how ridiculous is that for him to even bring Darnell Boone up as some sort of proof in favor of Stevenson?:mjlol:

decent card but mares going after oquendo and not doing a rematch with jhonny :smh:

It's a decent card due to the fact we might see a brutal KO happening or a few knockdowns. Mares should have been matched with a bigger name, but I guess after all the star power they used up for Floyd's undercard they couldn't afford to this time around.

This is damn sure a lot better than the Cotto/Martinez card.

The thing is, like I said yesterday, Stevenson is still a good fighter.....but he has alot of question marks outside of power to me. How will he fare against a great boxer that he cant KO? That's a huge question because that, to me, is Stevenson vs Hopkins in a nutshell. I dont expect him to KO Hopkins, so I just question can he outbox him...and I think that answer is a strong no.

He'll probably be 37 by the time he fights Hopkins too, so either one of them can lose to Father Time that night:manny:

I understand everyone getting at Superman for his suspect defense and chin. I just don't think most dudes will risk really going in on dude in order to CLEARLY outbox him in Canada. It's easy to say he's open for jabs and counters, but it's something entirely different when he's right in front of you throwing them murderous left hands and body punches.

I look at Sergio Martinez the same way. He's almost the same type of boxer, but I think he's just not as powerful or strong and his stamina is actually worse. Guys like Barker, Murray etc.. who aren't even special at all were able to win rounds and floor dude with just the basics. It looks like Stevenson is of the same mold, but you gotta be a hell of a lot tougher to even do that since he hits so fukking hard. Fonfara was just a rare case.

I think Hopkins will prolly lose a clear decision like he did against Dawson (winning only 3 or 4 rounds) or just get knocked out.

Bernard has the tools to outpoint Stevenson. I just don't think he'll take the risks. He never really has against athletic boxer puncher types that have decent skills. He'll fight not to lose, but actually lose.

We'll see what happens though if they actually fight.
