I look at Sergio Martinez the same way. He's almost the same type of boxer, but I think he's just not as powerful or strong and his stamina is actually worse. Guys like Barker, Murray etc.. who aren't even special at all were able to win rounds and floor dude with just the basics. It looks like Stevenson is of the same mold, but you gotta be a hell of a lot tougher to even do that since he hits so fukking hard. Fonfara was just a rare case.

I think Hopkins will prolly lose a clear decision like he did against Dawson (winning only 3 or 4 rounds) or just get knocked out.

Bernard has the tools to outpoint Stevenson. I just don't think he'll take the risks. He never really has against athletic boxer puncher types that have decent skills. He'll fight not to lose, but actually lose.

We'll see what happens though if they actually fight.

The only question mark I have about the fight is if BHop takes too many of the early rounds off, he usually starts to :cook: around the 4th-5th rd.

He needs to start earlier like around the 2nd-3rd like the did Shumenov, he'd be better off taking the middle-late rounds off because he can still win those rounds with a couple of counters due to Stevenson's stamina.

I think its going to be a 116-112 type of fight in favor of Bhop, if Stevenson wins I'll give him his props but he better be fighting Kovalev sooner than later. :ufdup:

Anything can happen but with the style Hopkins fights in, even at this age it's unlikely.

Out of the two fighters in this fight Hopkins ain't the one with the questionable chin breh breh.
