Force distance? Hopkins? What am I hearing here breh it's not like Stevenson has a good jab he has no reason to force the distance he can easily time him and get inside.

I think Hopkins is better on the outside and on the inside but the inside is what will win it for him(and make it an ugly fight.)

As far as Dawson there is a reason BHop was always :mjpls: over a Dawson fight.

and what is that breh? :patrice:

For the same reason he doesn't want a Ward fight. :mjpls:

yeah both fighters are too athletic, have high workrates, and solid boxing skills...things that are issues for current old man bhop...bhop gambled on chad being a mental headcase because of the pascal fight and we saw what happened :mjpls: lol

Two technically sound guys who he wouldn't be able to feast off their deficiencies at 45+.

Stevenson doesn't fall into that category. Strength or should I say power ain't got shyt to do with it.

The fact that Stevenson has weak defense, a questionable chin, below average footwork, no head movement, holds his right hand really low at points, is open to counter punches, etc......those are all advantages to Bernard Hopkins.

Stevenson is gonna be open all night like 7-Eleven for clean punches to the face breh:manny:
Those are not all true though. You're underrating the shyt out of Stevenson breh,

Care to elaborate on what isn't true in that statement friend? :mjpls:
Defense isn't weak although his balance is suspect. Chin won't be an issue against BHOP. He wont be open for straight rights all night. Yeah he holds his right hand low and has suspect head movement. Stevenson isn't going to train for a bhop fight the same way he did for fonfara. Fight is still 50/50. But all of a sudden Stevenson becoming Struggleson because he didn't knock Fonfara out (I predicted he would in the 7th) and him having no chance of beating BHOP is a joke, friend. And I know you didn't post all that shyt krack.

He wasn't eating rights hands on Saturday. :why: His chin won't be an issue with BHop who has some of the most accurate shots in the game even at 49 :why:

An old dog (37) ain't learning new tricks friend. I'd say this is 70/30.

We brought up him not knocking Fonfara out because you nikkas were talking about knockout in 2,4,7 rounds :mjlol: Now that it didn't happen AND he got put on his ass, looked :dead: quite a few times and was getting out boxed everyone is acting like Fonfara is a world beater.

Because a poster feels BHop is going to exploit those weaknesses that I'm sure Hopkins saw before the Fonfara fight :cape: stans are up in arms.

What do you think has a better chance of happening BHop outboxing a guy who was getting outboxed by Fonfara(at times) or Stevenson ko'ing Hopkins? Yet we are the ones whose opinions are looked at like a joke here :camby:

Funny how everyone forgets Emmanuel Steward's words about ko'ing Bernard when it comes to a fighter he trained. :mjpls:

NEW BOXING SERIES COMING SOON TO CBS SPORTS NETWORK?
By Ben Thompson | May 27, 2014
Sources close to the situation have informed us that CBS Corporation is currently finalizing plans for their own boxing series to be aired on CBS Sports Network, the 24-hour network home of CBS Sports. Although details are still unclear at this point, we're told that the network is planning 26 telecasts, the same amount as the current season of ESPN's Friday Night Fights. Furthermore, we're told that those telecasts will likely take place on Monday and Thursday nights, which would likely put them in direct competition with the Golden Boy Live! series on Fox Sports 1.

According to one source, Iron Mike Productions is one of several promotional companies that are already on board with the series. Given Al Haymon's seemingly close working relationship with CBS, one should not be surprised to see several of his fighters making an apperance on the network as well. While FightHype was unable to get anyone to speak officially on the record, our understanding is that organizers were originally targeting July 17 as the kick-off date, but for whatever reason, those plans could be placed on hold until the start of 2015.
