You dont think it would look ridiculous if Manny fought Canelo, Maidana, Broner, etc.....but Floyd was still refusing to do business with Arum? Schaefer was a HUGE part of that, because he stated on record that he refused to do business with Arum. That would extremely limit who Manny could fight at 140-147 as long as Schaefer stood in the way. Now that he's gone, Manny's gonna run through GB fighters leaving nobody but Floyd left.

I dont think it ends well for Oscar unless he can beat his addiction. That's the main problem here. Richard been running the company while Oscar is away in rehab. Prob was doing all kinds of shyt with Haymon behind Oscar's back. Now Oscar has had some sort of revelation after feeling fukked over so he is going back to Bob. (under the guise of making things better for boxing fans)

Oscar can get another Schaefer but as long as he battles addiction, he will always just be a figure-head. Really, I wouldnt be surprised if (the NEW) Mayweather promotions supplants the old GBP. They have all they need...Schaefer, Haymon, Ellerbe....and we know how much Floyd loves money.

Again, the drug addiction really is about to force Oscar to lose his entire company. He needs to be present and run that company like a boss should.

Floyd is taking himself away from ANYONE that can potentially match him up with Manny Pacquiao, is how it looks to me. Bob Arum and Oscar De La Hoya are willing to work together to make matches, but Floyd...now....doesnt want any parts of GB or their fighters


To me, it's a questionable move. He hates Oscar, but he was willing to work with his company and put money in Oscar's pockets for 7 years. Now, all of a sudden, after we've all heard Oscar and Arum say they plan on doing fights together, Floyd's done with GB.
