yea I feel ya...
we almost had that kirkland/young rojo matchup too..but now kirkland aint "high profile" enough to risk it...dude needs a few more solid wins..that L to that yu darvish looking jap and getting boxed up by Molina really hurt dudes stock.

I feel ya, but Kirkland is going into the right direction with the Tapia victory. Nobody really talks about the loss to Ishida anymore since he went on to beat Angulo in his home country. This was also a closer to prime version of El Perro than what Lara fought and much better than the version that Canelo smacked around. The Molina fight was bad and both got cheated out of a definitive victory due to the fukkery at the end.

The thing is Kirkland ain't active enough. He'll have a good win, and then come around and look bad, and then wait a while and look great again. He been should have received a title shot, but...:manny:

that was a great fight :wow: but i dont think he beats any of the elite at 140 or 147 khan, berto, garcia, guerrero, thurman, porter, matthysse all give broner L's i think even victor ortiz drops broner :pachaha:he's too easy to hit

Maybe they should fight him then and let's see:sas1:

We at 140:sas2:

I love how yall have made my nikka AB into the underdog and now, I think it's safe to say he's underrated:manny:

Let's see what happens from here on out:smugbiden:

Ponce always seems to get overrated against Broner, but then underrated in just about everything else. :manny:

Dude had a good career and it's sad when people make him out to be some random C level fighter when he was actually a solid B level fighter than had some skills, KO power, and toughness. A lot of fighters have those traits and never win a world title let alone 2.

Ponce was Broner's 1st step up fight and he made the young buck work for it. shyt was close and competitive. I thought Broner edged it out, but it wasn't no gift.

Cotto was rocked and hurt against Torres and Corely early in his career and he just won the middleweight title.

I 'll let #bandcamp cook, but he gotta impress me some time soon. That Molina performance was underwhelming as fukk.

Yeah, I have no doubt that JCC Jr would fight Andre Ward.

I want to see it like this: Miguel Cotto vs JCC Jr at 160, then Canelo Alvarez vs JCC Jr at 160, then JCC Jr vs Carl Froch at 168, JCC Jr vs GGG at 168, followed by JCC Jr vs Andre Ward at 168:whew:
I understand why #ChavezCoalition would want Cotto and Canelo, lots of money, lots of publicity. But I don't want to see those fights at all. I am done with JCC trying to build his resume off of much smaller guys. Cotto and Canelo are still natural JMW.
Yeah, cutting weight is legal...but to see a dude who walks around at the same weight the fighters at the 168 and 175 pound classes and the idea of him fighting 155 lb fighters. Cotto weighs less on fight night than JCC on his struggle weigh ins. :mjlol:

JCC has fights vs guys for good money that are physically more equal. I still think he probably takes the Froch fight, which is the one he needs to IMO.
He needs to continue his career at 168. At 160, I can't take him seriously anymore. :yeshrug:

Chavez jr has always been a big dude, but if he gave a shyt I honestly think he'd make 160.

I already know Cotto don't want them problems if that happens.

he can make the weight...and they need to make that fight. that is a good money fight that wont be short on action.

I also like how everyone forgets that they were all on the "Broner KOs Maidana" bandwagon before the fight, but after it was, let's laugh at Broner. Then Maidana proceeds to give Floyd a handful after I said that he's a different fighter with Garcia and Ariza Shakes in his system and it's still, but Broner got knocked out by a bum......even though that same bum gave Floyd the toughest fight he's had in years:snoop:

Irrational hate.....but it is what it is:manny:

He beat Molina 8 rounds to 2, but it wasnt as dominant as it sounds:heh: He has to come back better, or look better in his next fight out like you said

Broner's only been knocked down twice in his career......and was paid handsomely for it:sas2:

we all know the Broner hate mostly comes from his mouth. he has talent. I just fear that he doesnt have the right style for bigger weights. Meldrick was the same way. he had fast hands, feet, and decent power at JWW but when he moved up those guys were too big for his style. He didnt move a whole lot and like to get in exchanges. Zab was similar at 147...although he didnt stand and trade, he was a small WW and his power like Meldrick and AB didnt have the effect on bigger guys like it did smaller ones. Its a give and take. None of them couldve made the money they did at lower weights that they did when they moved up. Only defensive geniuses like Floyd or Sweet Pea can move up effectively because they just dont get hit. Manny....thats another story...no comment.
