That Floyd/Ghost fight was brutal to watch. Guerrero was dominated badly.

Then after the fight his Dad's comments coupled with him acting like he was owed big fights after Floyd left me completely disgusted with Ghost.

I wish he wouldn't have ducked Thurman, woulda loved to see my nikka One Time beat the shyt outta him
The ghost was more competitive than Canelo, and he won as much clean rounds off Floyd than Chino did

Cut that Ghost hate out, Ruben stated yesterday what I been saying, Mayweather wanted no parts of a trench fight with the ghost, he wouldnt dare fight him like he did Canelo or Chino.......As far as Thurman goes, how you gonna tell a million nikka to come make a few hundred thousand, on top of that Haymon was in the ghost ear he sued GBP to get out his contract, failed and like a week later signed with Haymon, do I have to spell it out for you illiterate nikkas, the schism in the GB camp has been present.............

Wake me up when Thurman faces one top 15 WW, bytch nikka is awfully quiet with that whole stable pretty much open, he really aint trying to get the taste of being on jelly legs vs a handpicked bum in Diaz then him leaving on a high note on some George Costanza shyt

Arum wants Algieri for :deadmanny:

Team Algieri wants to cash out N fight pac
Who besides Algieri and Bob Arum wants to see that?
An Algieri/Pac PPV would be one of the biggest bombs ever.
TR needs to actually build Algieri up before pushing him so hard and the best way to do that is by signing the Provodnikov rematch and Algieri actually winning it in a convincing fashion.

Didn't ruslan come out and say he wasn't very interested in training for the fight?

Yeah, because he was fighting an unknown local kid who's best victory was over Emmanuel Taylor....a C fighter at best.

You cant expect Ruslan Provodnikov, who was coming off a break out performance against Timothy Bradley and Mike Alvarado, to be super interested in fighting against a fighter like Chris Algieri......especially when he was looking forward to fighting Manny Pacquiao or Juan Manuel Marquez instead.

That doesnt mean that he didnt want his belt:manny:

This.......Prov was ready for a prime scalp, a Manny, Floyd, JMM or Bradley type of Body, how can he be motivated to face Algieri, the same shyt happened with Swift. On top of that, Fight was a set up from the start, not to mention his trainer has been busy with both Manny and Cotto recently, unless Prov got the ko which he almost made happen multiple times he wouldnt have won, there was a reason Arum was blowing that Algieri smoke post fighter

:scusthov: at Manny Algieri also, if Manny losses to a white boy he's officially done................

I feel where you coming from, but since he was still getting a career high pay day I can't agree with him being not motivated. I'd fully understand if he was still making the same type of bread he was making against Mike and Timmy. Dude banked 750k. There's nikka that gotta keep putting on absolute wars every night for their whole career before they start getting that type of money.

I don't think R.Marquez/I. Vasquez made that type of money until their 3rd fight together and them nikkas already gave fans 2 classic fights plus a bunch of other exciting performances.

swift made the decision to stay at 140 after that lucas fight and look for 140 fights which other than a unification with peterson there were no other big fights for him there...not the same thing

Hop off my dikk:beli:

Both Prov and Swift were both ready for a big body to put in the back of the truck and drive around the neighborhood to show off.............................How the fukk can they get motivated for Herrera and Algieri when they fought champs, p4p fighters and HOF's.................

Dont forget Bradley got his ass whooped at 147, Prov is only at 140 because Arum tried to hide him from Manny, JMM and Bradley.....

The visual:russ:

But no, I DO think Swift and Prov underestimated both of those ESPN fighters. Bad on Prov's part, because HE was an ESPN fighter himself but, like you and I said, coming off Bradley and Alvarado.....you thinking Manny's next:ohlawd:

You get a call from Bob Arum offering Chris Algieri and you like "who?":dwillhuh:

Word and nikkas is hating to hate, but it's ok

Dont worry though small setback, I dont seeing a fight being a L, when you had your opponent dropped twice, and hurt badly ready to go multiple times throughout, Algieri gets respect for surviving and nothing else, Prov beats him in a rematch..................

My question that i got from another site is, why wasnt the fight stopped due to Chris Algieri's eye but Cotto vs Margarito 2 was stopped due to Marg's eye?

The eyes looked exactly identical.....except Algieri's was like that from round 1:patrice:

Margs was still fighting and coming forward, but they stopped the fight while Algieri was allowed to go the full 12.:mjpls:

I smell a little home cooking:sas2:
