I think Swift will be fine at WW.

Besides, how many of those Welterweights are actually legit? Most of them are Junior Welterweights masquerading as Welterweights.

Them nikkas need to lay off the Big Macs, run a couple laps, and get their asses back down to 147 where they belong :heh:

The only guys I think would pick to beat Swift at this point are Floyd, Manny, Thurman, Porter, and Alexander. Possibly Maidana, Marquez, and Bradley (I'd definitely favor Swift over 2 out the 3).
What I was thinking. Swift is a good fighter. It isn't like he is going to move up and look out of place. He is naturally strong, a solid puncher, and has a great chin. He doesn't have good speed and foot movement isn't great.
I definitely would pick Floyd, Manny, Thurman, and Porter over him. Maidana, Marquez, and Bradley I could see going either way. Alexander is a tough one...he seems to make all his fights close and can compete vs anyone.
I think he clips Khan again if they rematch. I would love to see him fight Matthysse again, I was one who thought Swift won...but it was close, and for the pure spectacle of these guys going toe to toe and I wouldn't be surprised to see Garcia win again or Matthysse get the victory the second time. But Garcia won fair and square so he deserves to go after other fights if he wants.

I could really see Swift catching Pac for a knockdown or two.

I am done believing in Devon.

Porter would be a REAL problem, I can't see him winning that one.

Thurman Is 50/50.

He def can beat JMM and Bradley., I'd be surprised if he didn't.

Not as confident in him against Chino, dont think he can match his volume output to outpoint Chino and with his defense he will get hit a lot if he tries to. He would have to put on the counterpunching display of a lifetime to beat him, but I dont see why that cant happen. He has it in em.

Bradley has to the tools to give Swift trouble. But at the same time he's very hittable, doesn't have alot of punching power, and has a tendency to fight like a dummy.

If Bradley boxes Swift and can stick to the game plan, I'd give it to him. However, I don't trust Tim to stick to said gameplan

Tim is the better boxer and athlete. Tim won't be able to hurt Garcia and Garcia can hurt Tim.
Tim usually leaves openings for his opponents.

Initially I would probably expect a 12 round decision to go to Bradley off of him outworking Garcia, but I see it being close to a toss up.
