EDIT: Link down, but it was from the crowd and was bad anyway so after reading the fightnews.com report, it's safe to say that Salinas is another Cuban bust

Yeah, that body shot from Kameda was NAAASTY.......but overall, I think this performance but more distance between him and Yamanaka

Before this I thought he would be the one to dethrone Shinsuke Yamanaka but, he's gonna need another good win or I'm gonna need to see more deterioration from Yamanaka

-Neither Canelo nor Lara really benefited from this at all IMHO. Honestly, after he first three-four rounds, it was Lara's fight to lose..... and he snatches defeat from the jaws of victory. However, that's not a satisfying victory by any means and with two fights in a row where he refuses to sweat down to 154, I wonder how much longer Canelo plans on sticking around at Light Middleweight. Either way, either guy......................needs to give my boy Sugar Shay a shot

well i think its safe to say that carlos molina is really the legit number 2 at 154 ..i have no doubts now that molina got his rematch with lara..lara would be beaten...if canelo went after him canelo's boxing ability would really get exposed and it would be ugly

I had it a draw at 114-114......and I gave all the close rounds to Canelo

Lara should've stood and traded a little bit more, because when he did, he was landing cleaner and sharper.

Canelo should've cut off the ring a little more and stop letting Lara stick and move so much.

I was more impressed with Lara in this fight, but Canelo body work was excellent. Close fight, but at BEST I had it a draw while giving Canelo all the close rounds and the benefit of the doubt. I can see Lara or anyone else giving him the fight's point of view.

and all Canelo did was land a left hook to the body...

Who landed the more effective punches is also debatable...Canelo's body punching was very effective but so was Lara's jab straight left combo...He was snapping Canelo's head back with it all night stopping him in his tracks...Lara just didn't let his hands go enough to win rounds convincingly...

I wish nikkas would stop overrating these Cuban fighters. nikkas are just that. Ams..
