Canelo's body work definitely saved him no doubt.
I thought Lara only won 4 clear rounds so I don't think 117-111 is too wide. All that means is Canelo won a close swing round in the eyes of that judge. If anybody has Lara winning more than 4 or 5 rounds than that means you're giving him too much of the benefit of the doubt or was just easily impressed by his movement.
Everybody knows Canelo gasses, but he managed to keep his more an intensity for the whole fight because he was never pressed. Lara fought the perfect fight to keep Canelo competitive. I'm disappointed in his corner too, since they were gassing his strategy up. Dude needed to throw more punches. Whenever he stepped in and sat down his straight left, he'd hit Canelo clean as fukk.
If Kirkland would get his shyt together, he would have prolly beaten both versions of the Lara and Canelo that fought last night. Andrade prolly would too. shyt, J Rock would too.
