He's not completely boring, but he's not really an action packed fighter either. it really all depends on who he's facing.

Donaire is exciting when he has guys that will stand in front of him all night and leave themselves open. But when he's not facing the right guy, he gets very passive and doesn't even try to lead the action and dictate the pace.

Basically, he's a guy that needs the right dance partner to really look good out there

This fight was have been A LOT easier for Canelo if he knew how to cut the ring off better. Still did enough to win though.
