That fight camp stuff they did was VERY good. I even caught some of the women at my old job discussing that stuff, I walked by and overheard them like

...although without context to what was going on in that scene it would have been a very suspect statement haha..showed all of them as regular ass cats with personalities..matter of fact I may rewatch these shyts during my vacation at the last week of the month
I actually expected fighters to drop out. I think Showtime should have the set the proper expectations to fans that this could happen & made a theme around the tournament being "survival of the fittest."
The fact that Ward got through a tournament where half the fighters couldn't hang makes him winning the tournament even more impressive imo. Here you have a guy that took it one fight at a time & grinded it out.
Another thing is that the fights that happened where others dropped out where actually entertaining.
