Not so fast my friend.....HBO also has Crawford vs Beltran and Hopkins vs Kovalev coming up too and that August 9th and September 6th Showtime cards are both garbage.


Im anticipating 9/6 because it's the Return of #BandCamp




But they're both still weak main events

Also, HBO is looking to get GGG and Cotto fights before the end of the year. Also rumors of possibly Rios-Prov in Dec.
Showtime is supposed to get Wilder-Stiverne sometime between Oct-Dec.


This year has been just okay so far, but some decent stuff could close it out.

Herrera was not unknown before Danny, he beat the shyt out of Prov before nikkas gave him boogyman status. Now was Herrera known among casuals probably not but that doesn't mean he is unknown. There were guys in here who said Herrera was going to beat Danny.

This will be interesting. Stevenson is the lineal, but an argument and a very fair opinion would be that the winner of Hopkins/Kovalev should be considered the best in the division. Stevenson could get other fights, but they merely support his resume...he would need to unify to maintain his throne as no one gives him the cache as a victory vs. Hopkins or Kovalev would.

Word was that Hopkins wanted Stevenson and Kovalev back to back. If he beats Kovalev, I bet Haymon would work on getting Stevenson the fight so his fighter could own the division and be a PFP player.
