I'm kinda fearful he might. We've seen Kovalev fukk a dude up to the body with almost no effort. Now take that and give him an opponent with a body pushing 50 on him...

Another reason why I'm commending BHop for wanting to take this fight.

Watching GGG/Geale. Man Golovkhin throws a beautiful punch, just the way he telegraphs his punches, the angles, etc. I mean, just beautiful. Only problem I have with Golovkhin is he's a little flat footed. Other than that, he's a beautiful fighter.

Watching GGG/Geale. Man Golovkhin throws a beautiful punch, just the way he telegraphs his punches, the angles, etc. I mean, just beautiful. Only problem I have with Golovkhin is he's a little flat footed. Other than that, he's a beautiful fighter.

His flat footed style is intentional. He designed his style to be aggressive and always be in position to move forward and cut off the ring. Hard to do if you are on your toes. It makes his style better, but also could provide openings against a skilled boxer or big puncher as GGG doesn't make big movements with his feet or body, but rather uses smaller movements to keep position and leverage.

I get what you probably meant in that being flat footed creates openings for opponents, but I think it is entirely calculated by GGG to maximize his stalking style. Watching him he is technically very sound in foot movement and cutting off the ring. The real fun will be watching him face a guy who is equally as talented as he is.
