No offense, nice story and all but...they already had a long back story and sit down live interview with the wife and donor, we get it.

Exactly after all that she was just standing there ringside like "what about me guys"

These Mexicans on twitter are gassing the fact that Guerrero is the "#1 contender" for Floyd. One of them said after tonight's performance he's a legit threat. Another one said he should take on Floyd, then Pac, then Sergio. I'm done with life :bryan: :laff:

Anyone notice that?

Ghost should challenge a champion at 140, become a 5 division champion :ohhh:

c'mon sui, lets keep it real since when did we start recognizing INTERIM titles, rather then full titles. he wasn't even a real champ at 135, he was a INTERIM. he only had the full titles at 126 and 130.

he's a 2 division champ. if we count interim titles then why not count wbu, ibo, nabf, and the rest of them bullshyt titles. not discrediting Guerrero but its the truth.

There's 4-5 major belts in every division. WBA has two different champs, super and world. Then there's the media and fan recognition of the Ring belt. Then there's continental and national belts recognized outside of the states that are highly touted.

Tryna tell me there's a difference between an interim "major" belt and all that other bullshyt I just listed?

Nah. :mjpls:

A belt is a belt. These so called boxing organizations are no more credible than the other, some just get more recognition stateside or garner more attention just because.

None hold credibility, they are all for publicity. Just beat the best available competition and real boxing fans know what's up.

i think the ring title holds credibility. The ring title has been around for years, always have been credible then most organisations even when it comes to ranking imo. the interim titles, diamond titles all those continental, state, interim titles dont mean shyt. zab judah was on fnf commentating and i'm a fan of zab but do we actually recognize him as a 3 division champ especially the ibc title at 154.

we all know that the title thing is all policitcs and about organizations making money today, but that shouldnt change the fact going back to history that the regular champs of the wba, wbc, ibf, are the real titleholders of that organization.

just overall, im not calling robert guerrero no fukking 4 division champ when 2 of them were interim titles.

It doesn't. It's a magazine publication now owned by Golden Boy. It's like stating "The Source" magazine as being some authority over what albums are good/bad. There are no authority figures in boxing, shyt is the wild west. Only rules that apply are the ones that benefit themselves.

Even before the alphabet soup era began there were problems with fighters of certain skin tones not getting a fair shake at the "World" title. Like I said, it's all publicity.

I've already told you what real boxing fans recognize...everything else is pointless or nonsensical tradition.

Arguably the greatest Flyweight of all time, also considered the greatest fighter out of Scotland, Benny Lynch. Let this be a lesson, demons can destroy a fighter moreso than the sport itself. We would've seen 1-2 movies produced about his life by now but his family won't allow it :wow:

Good weekend of boxing brehs

Shawn Porter is a beast, but I think he was rusty from the inactivity because I usually don't see him get hit that often but then again Gomez at 147 isn't some bum. Good rough ass fight.

The Ghost did okay, he won but kinda scraped by with it. I think Aydin's crudeness and lack of punch variety did him in, but good effort nonetheless. I think all the out of the ring shyt that Guerro been through kinda made him regress a bit. Back at feather and jr lightweight dude was nice with it, but now he looks a bit sloppier and clinches way too much instead of the infighting he used to do. He used to show elite skills back then but now not so much. I can't see him being competitive with Floyd or even guys like Berto or Alexander. He should of stopped at 140 and got a belt there or made a fight with a top guy but....:manny: he's at 147 now so fuk it.
