Yup. Glen Schofield was the creator and executive producer of the 1st Dead Space game.

He ain't under EA anymore either so this will be promising.

As someone who missed out on Dead Space, this will be day 1 for me.

What's crazy is most folks don't know the lead developer for Callisto Protocol is the same guy who made the Dead Space games.
