What are some good zip codes to stay in? Have my eye on Charlotte for a move in a few years.

Anywhere in the South, 28217, 28216, etc. South Charlotte is about ~16% black but that's still 16% of more than 360,000 people, so that's nearly 60,000 black folk. You'll find most black folk in South Charlotte along the Nation's Ford corridor, South Bully south if Woodlawn, and out in Steele Creek...

It's a much more major and cosmopolitan city than Memphis, I don't know if that's a deterrent for you. But it's a big city and it's busy...

Definitely not a deterrent that’s what im looking for. I always say you can judge a city by its airport. I’ve had many layovers in Charlotte and it’s popping, Memphis airport up until two or three years ago looked like the 80s lol. It looks better now but still dry.

I went out to the vegan event I posted above.

The vast majority of people there were Black. Almost all of the food trucks and vendors were Black-owned. There was a smattering of white people there, including a few PAWGs @Bryan Danielson

A latino? guy was there who had on a full goth outfit with a red cape. I had to keep myself from laughing.

There was a lot of people there even towards the end of the the event which was when I got there.

I haven't eaten at a food truck in a long time, and they have always been expensive, but they're more expensive than ever. Make sure you are prepared to spend money at a food truck event.

I went to the Cheerwine Festival in Salisbury. I don’t know why they’re acting like they’re a huge city but they need to stop! Man there was lines everywhere! Parking was stupid smh. They’re going to have to address that eventually
