I'm going on my second week so far. Im staying in an apartment my job is renting out in the Southpark area.

The first week was all work, and when the weekend came, I drove to VA to kick it with an old friend with benefits.

Motherfukkers out here be driving too damn slow like get the fukk out the way!


I will say the food is better so far. .

I probably won't explore everywhere until I settle into my permanent residence.


The only place I've looked at in person so far is Addison at South Tryon. For what they offering, it's not worth the price .


is that a good spot to live tho?

How long did the process take?

I did. From SC so it really doesn't count. I just made a weekend trip out of it. One or two phone interviews. Next Friday In Person. Had an offer Monday.
Some of the dudes from work with families came first then moved the family afterwards.

@Ethnic Vagina Finder I'm actually looking at places myself. I can't speak on the Complex itself but I think that's a decent area and should be a cool commute if you work by the Airport. I'm gunning for South End or Plaza. But let me know if you come across a cool spot in that area.

Basically after looking at different spots and deciding where I want to live I have determined that I'm gonna have to pay at least $1100 for a 1 bedroom to get want I want.

For me I’m bringing my family down there me, the wife and my two boys.

Problem I have is, I know no one down there. I have some very, very distant family in Carolina. Every gig I have had even the IT gig I’m working now. I garnered through my network.

I have to start building my intercontinental network, now.

Apply. Get the job. Have they pay for your relocation.

Find some people close to your network through linkedin and reach out.
