a Shai/Chet duo got legendary potential

Chet is in the perfect spot because even though he was drafted in a spot where you would expect a franchise leading player he doesn't have that role or the associated pressure.

Nobody is drafting a 3rd option at #2 overall on purpose. Who knows how he turns out if he was expected to be a #1.

It will be interesting to see if he accepts a 3rd option contract.

I don't wanna sound like captain hindsight but I don't think his skill set was questioned that much? Question was always about his frame and ability to stay in the post against big men and stay healthy meanwhile.


Chet is near perfect for this era and this team as he has very few legit big centers who can give him problems off strength in the post. And with how much Shai drives and how much attention he gets, there's a ton of spacing in the paint and outside for him offensively.

Not gonna lie... I didn't think Chet would be this good. He seemed slow and a little fragile.

But dude is a legit hooper. He does a little bit of everything.

Yeah Chet is a great weakside defender, his man to man post defense is straight trash cause he's so weak and can easily be moved off his spot(like you said, that's the reason they paid for IHart)
