I'm not sure if a thread has been made strickly dedicated to Chopped N Screwed music.
But I figured I would start one. When I first heard Screwed N chopped music, I absolutley Hated that shyt was like "what in the hell is this slowed down Bullshyt"

I'm from the bay and my 1st time really hearing Screwed N Chopped music was on my football recruiting trip to U of Hawaii. Some Texas cats on the team were playin some DJ screw or Michael Watts mix. They were blastin that shyt.

But it wasn't until about a year later after, that my Texas homies really put me on Screwed N Chopped music, I actually went out to Houston, I poured up and then Screwed n Chopped music all made sense. After that I turned into a real Screwhead. I had to understand what and where the music was comin from. I understood the vibe then.

I still have a huge colection os Michael 5000 Watts, Screw CDs and OG Ron C albums on deck

Jeezy's Trap or Die and TIs Urban Legend may be the best mainstream screwed albums ever. I actually miss albums that came with the regular version and c&s versions

Exactly. I heard they stopped makin 2 different versions because legally they couldn't use the name "screwed n chopped" without payin DJ Screws family. ( I may be wrong tho)
