I used my PS3 for streaming downloaded content from my computer.

How will have to set up chromecast to get the most out of it?

you really should get a Roku its the best bang for your buck, you can even get the streaming stick which is similar to Chromecast

the Chromecast is good for $30 but its not better than the Roku which is only $20 more

I dont need to know what he needs it for its a better option hands down, now if you dont want to spend the money or want to use it for a kids room then maybe you can consider the Chromecast

he wants to get the most out of it so I suggested the Roku

Why u listening to him?

Well I did say what I mainly used the PS3 for. I used the PS3 Media Server to copy or watch stuff I downloaded from my PC.

Dude came through and said the Roku is a better option, I have some knowledge on how the Roku works but nothing much on Chromecast. Which one is simpler? What can one do the other can't?

I just bought it and it's in the mail. Everyone I have spoken to about it says Chromecast is awesome.

Maybe some people have bad internet connection?
