Crazy how this turned out so bad.

Really that Travis Hunter injury was like the beginning of the end.

He should really be rallying behind the close losses they had

Venables went 6-7 in his first year and he had much more to work with at a national power than Deion did, how bout we wait a couple years before declaring this a failure

Lol at this personal shot.

Much more to work with? You mean like losing 2 Heisman qbs to the portal when riley left? Not to mention all the decommits he took with him.

Yeah, you're likely gonna have a bad year.

I didnt call this Colorado situation a failure, but you're living in delusion if you don't think losing 7 of the last 8 games isn't very bad...and losing coaches and decommits. Actually, what's happening at Colorado NOW, is closer to what happened at OU.

He'll have a 10 win team year 3 or 4.

None of this is gonna matter.

it wasn't a personal shot stop being sensitive, I referenced OU because obviously you're a fan and the blinders and lack of perspective was too easy to ignore. would you have got in your feelings if I referenced Steve Sarkisian going 5-7 in his first year at Texas? OU is a national brand that still had a better talent base to work with than what Deion inherited. The Lewis situation ended as a debacle but given all of the early season hype he had it was expected that he was going to get a HC position anyway so I think it was a given that he wasn't gonna there past this season. I'll wait to evaluate the state of the program and talent after the portal closes up because that's where he's going to have to clean up, if he botches this recruiting season then it's time to panic because they need to make progress after this year.

It’s still a huge success for Colorado overall considering the year they had before

All true bro. I think what the main difference is is recruiting. We signed a top 5 freshman class last year and led the country in # of freshman played this season. That really helped us bc some of those kids are good. But if Deion can't get high school talent it will be tough.

I guess maybe he figures he can get more NIL money just in case his NFL hopes don't work.

But he can't stay bc our 5star freshman backup qb needs to play. I wish him all the best though.
