Leftwich been hanging around the past couple of years. I figured he’d finally get on the staff once Shedeur left.
Prime is throwing everything and the kitchen sink into next season. Looking forward to it.

I think it had more to do with him trying to get HC jobs in the NFL
He’s wasn’t getting contacted man.
In addition, it probably didn’t make sense to pay a QB coach, considering Shedeur had one in Darrell.
Now that Shedeur is gone, Prime is investing into that QB room.

He wasn’t getting contacted the past few years. That Patriots and Seahawk jobs were some of his first interviews in years. Prior to that he was not getting contacted. See below:
Yeah he wanted a NFL job, most coaches do. It didn’t make sense for Prime to get him on the staff until Shedeur/Darrell were gone.
We all watch CU videos, and could see this hire coming. The timing had to be right.

What's Deion's end game here? Because I thought once Shedeur and Travis left, he would try to coach at a SEC SCHOOL. Is there a game changer on the roster that Deion truly believes in ? Is he gonna groom Leftwich, Faulk or Sapp to take over once he leaves.
Maybe a NFL opportunity?
The problem with Deion going to a blue blood is they may not let him have the freedom he has at Colorado in terms of his personal branding.
