i kind of miss my old barbershop in north carolina for that reason. we'd have pretty decent discussions at that one. but the barber i go to here in NOLA, every time i go (which is usually early in the week, like on tuesdays or wednesdays), there's only one or two other people there waiting so not much discussion takes place. plus the place only has three chairs so there's not that many barbers there. i mostly just watch the news while i wait or read a book i brought with me...
