How many cities have you been to in order to say Zurich is definitively top 10?

From what I've heard, Switzerland is too expensive, boring, and not diverse enough to be a top 5 Euro city let alone internationally.

I do want to go for the scenic landscapes and luxury experiences.

Internationally, only 9 so fair point.


Definitely expensive, but also seems like you get A LOT back for what you're putting in. I wasn't taking how expensive a place is too much into account, but I can see how that's a high factor for both tourist & people that may want to live in these places.

Definitely not that diverse, but I don't think it so much so to be a super major drawback if everything else is A1. I will say, I briefly explored applying to a job over there.....lack of black people/culture was/is an issue (for me). Not something I absolutely need, but definitely something I want.


Not sure anyone goes there and think it's boring. Maybe if you're not into being more nature type shyt or can't afford certain activities/lifestyle during winter.
Main selling point of Switzerland to me is how interconnected the "major city life" is to the nature / country side.

My mom's been trying to move to Detroit for 30 years lol, she loves the city. If she was able to get a work visa, she would've been there from time. She's even making plans to move out there when she retires lol.

either is fine. You got the language advantage in Kingston but Santo Domimgo is more touristy.

The long rains end in early May if you get their in June you should be good. Great weather not to hot might need to pack a light jacket in late July or August at night though.
