Missed out on 3 days of activities/beach/pool time. It was a historic storm. Basically a cyclone hit the island. The amount of rain was unbelievable it was like turning on a shower full steam and letting it pour for 3 days straight. Roads flooded, mudslides etc.
Our resort was safe but the workers had a hard time getting back and forth.
It’s whale season so we were able to see humpback whales from our resort which made the trip worth it! That was amazing.
