I still play NCAA 2k8. That's one of my favorite games due to the dynasty mode. Creating HS FR and seeing them as recruits

i just started up again yesterday got new rosters from os
damn the game is still hard as ell even with my 99 overall created players, that momentum crap when your on the road is killer
Oh shyt I just decided to pop the game in a couple days ago too
. I was hooked at that point. Ended up playing a much game in the next matchup and upset 6 seed Clemson in the 2nd round. I got 2 seed Michigan St now in the sweet 16. I'll probably get skullfukked but this game is amazing still to this day.Oh shyt I just decided to pop the game in a couple days ago too
Haven't played a video game in months and got the itch. Decided to run a closed legacy so that by the time my coach gets to the current season I'll have a pretty good job. I used to always start with TSU, PV, or Texas State but decided to go with UC Riverside. Simmed the regular season and finished 13-13. Played the 3 conference tourney games and made the NCAA. First round as the 14 seed against 3 seed George Mason I was down 19 at the half and about 22 down at the worst point. Chipped the lead down in the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half and went on a big run the last 5 minutes. Ended up winning by 3. I was hooked at that point. The graphics was horrible but the game was fire, remember the McDonald's All American game. I remember the previous edition of CH had Burger King AA's.
Size really mattered. It was damn near impossible to dribble drive in that game tho without getting a charge.
It this just me, but i have bought 3 copies of nba 2k8 and each one at random times freeze at the end of quarters, does this happened to anyone else?
this shyt takes me back! i remember i started a legacy with VMI! And making a fab 5 team of freshman with Seton Hall haha!I remember when I left Kennesaw for UNC. Recruiting was so hard at first. It's like recruits who had UNC as their top schools dropped my school ASAP. The coaching carousel.![]()
ps2, I always make sure that there is no buzz beater to decrease the chance of freezing.2k8 have skipping problems on xbox if thats what system u got
yeah man it still holds up
it kind of reminds me of fire pro wrestling basketball version may not have the best grpahics but the gameplay is amazing, the momentum shifts, you actually have to play like college basketball, as in passing the ball around and running plays. I've cheated and created like 5 guys rate dlike 99 overall and i was still getting my ass handed to me because i was trying to just crossover and hit pull up j's.

That's cool but the comp isn't that tough. Most of the teams you are playing v. as sorry as your team. I always created two or three players in the low 70's high 60's and redshirted them in the roster. Then when the dynasty starts and you have to pick a sorry team, I pick the sorry team I created the players to and unredshirt them so I can have some decent offensive players. Nothing special but at least they play the way I want them to play. I usually create myself, a center who is really tall and great at running, dunking, and blocking shots, and a PF who can really rebound and defend. They stay till their Jr years or grad from the team. You thought recruiting there was tough. Have you tried recruiting for MD Eastern Shore? They are the worst team to choose from on the Legacy mode. You can create a 99 player on their team and their rating will still be poo poo. NO ONE wants to play there. The only way you can consistently get quality players is by recruiting international players. It's fun as hell to build the program though. I got lucky a few years in a row, got some good players, and eventually won back-to-back titles.
