@Supreme Leader Reinscarf I didn't realize it got discontinued :ohhh:

I used to play one of these and I remember what you're talking about, you really were in charge of the program

maybe it was a diff version but I remember just targeting and developing unranked high potential international's until I could move up to a big school - low key I remember that being a kind of unbalanced strategy

giving me nostalgia.. I wonder if I can do some vodun and get it going on my PC :shaq:

yeah game was deep, i loved how id recruit like a 5'7 freshman and by the time he was a senior he was like 6'2

Bump

Anyone still play this? I'm getting in that mood again since we're bout to enter the nitty gritty of the CBB season. Can't believe it's been 10 years since this classic of a game dropped

yea. I'm bout to boot up.

the legacy I had going with others went to chit. I'm going back to my own legacy I had going by myself on the old PS2, with the conferences realigned, combined with the nba 2k8 legacy. adding real players to the mix every year & the 4-year rule. I left off after year 2.

I pretty much gave my 360 to my pop. so ima rock with this for now. low-key, the PS2 version is kinda deeper.

Yea I'm about to start complete over. I'm just not gonna completely realign the conferences. I wish it was like NCAA FB where you can add or drop teams. It seems tedious to do each one so I normally switch a few schools. We don't know how conferences look 5-10 years from now anyway :manny: Plus, I miss the old school Big East

I bought NBA 2K8 so I can see where my players go but I'm deciding whether I should add real players as recruits. I like the whole idea of what if scenarios. Like what if John Wall went stayed in-state and went to UNC like he was supposed to? What if Ben Simmons went to a different school to hone his talents? Add anotherther dynamic imo

Curious to know how the PS2 version is deeper. Didn't even know they made PS2 games that late

You could do that in this and a few other years. I def had some euros and nikkas from the motherland beasting at low and mid majors. But that was realistic too. Schools like St. Marys, Gonzaga basically got some low key foreign guys that became cornerstones of their program building. And much like in real life they would come over here kind of raw with some noticeable skills, but if you took the time to develop them you could find some real diamonds that would end up being nba material. I loved that game for little shyt like that.

is it even possible to re-align the conferences on NCAA FB?? the newest NCAA FB game that I tried re-aligning was 2010.

I just adjust the rosters every year, and add the freshman to their teams. not every team has room for all the freshmen tho. at least not with the 4-year rule. there were only 2 freshman spots on Kentucky. EDIT: I put john wall & Daniel orton on Kentucky. then put Bledsoe on alabama, since theyre the champs and hes from there. and put cousins on Memphis, since calipari is still there on the game and that's where he originally recruited cousins to go.

the PS2 version shows the stats for every game. the 360 version only shows stats for your teams' games.
and theres a couple other things I cant think of right now. but now that I think about it, I think that the PS2 is deeper with certain features, while the 360 is deeper with others.

it's just a program you can put on your computer (and phone) to make it act like another operating system. I know for sure you can emulate older systems like Super Nintendo so your able to download ROMS (which is basically a copy of data found on a video game cartridge) and play all your old favorite video games

Previously you were unable to emulate newer systems like xbox 360 or ps3. but I think they've made breakthroughs and some people are able to do it, I'm not sure yet. Since they don't allow you play old games on the ps4, I hope it works.
