Playstation Plus has much more features that aren't really mentioned when being brought up. I have PS+ on my PS3 set to turn on every day at 2-4AM and automatically patch and download games, apps and the system.

That's a huge convenience to me because I don't play the PS3 everyday so when I do turn it on, I'm greeted to a screen letting me know my saves were synced to the cloud and ____ software etc. was updated and patched. It can even download and install games that may have not completed when you turned off the PS3.

I like how I know I can get early access to demo's beta's and DLC as well as get cheap, steam like deals on certain games. Jet Grind Radio, Jak and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank HD were a measly $2 for PS+ members. That's a bargain right there for fairly new games(HD remakes that is).

Now, you see what they give you because you paid $60
Yall talk about online gaming shouldn't be paid for, or who cares about cross game chats. Then brag about paying to have updates on games, use of the cloud for saves, get early access to demo's/etc. Oh, and let me play LBP1 for free and i'll just ignore the fact not a single game is safe.,. or even your info on your console for that matter.

I'm not over here saying XBL is the greatest thing from head to toe, that isn't the issue here in this thread. Make a thread about Xbox, I'll be there
I'd gladly be under "xbox's mercy" if that means playing on a level playing field. PSN isn't under sony's mercy, its under the mercy of hackers and DEVELOPERS have been saying this FOR YEARS.

You guys ignored it because of simply the words "Patch" and "PSN has them too"
But the truth about PSN, is they don't really patch a muthafukkin thing.

The PS3 has been hacked before, but Sony was able to inhibit the hack with an update to its own firmware. This is much like the history of jailbreaking on Apple's iOS, where hackers typically uncover a security vulnerability and exploit it, whereupon Apple patches the hole and suppresses the jailbreak.

But the latest PS3 break is being dubbed unpatchable and the final hack. That's because this hack isn't giving you an exploit to use against a programming hole. It's giving you Sony's so-called LV0 (level zero) cryptographic keys. If true, the war is over and Sony lost

I had a PS3...and that piece of shyt broke....TWICE!!! And to be honest the ONLY reason I got one in the first place is because I was waiting on a FF7 Remake....Yeah I was a sucka for that..I might as well been waiting on Detox to drop. But I played Uncharted 2 and GOW...and after I was done with them...back to the Xbox. PS3 could have been the greatest ever if they allowed a little more flexibility with their system. You know like...having the ability to play PS2 games....But oh well...I'm sure Sony has learned from their mistakes and will come back...

Something I thought about. Default PSN on the Vita is already better than XBL.

It has party chat, app, video chat through skype and access to apps just like the PS3 does.
