might have to double dip for In the Mood & Malcolm X (had the blu ray book) & the Infernal Affairs trilogy definitely getting copped
It's annoying they were so late to join 4K. They're re releasing recent releases. Or other boutique labels put out a 4K version of the same movies. It sucks as a consumer

Criterion just announced they’re releasing Wall-E in 4K. A Criterion partnership with Disney and Pixar could be a big deal.

Nah, but on the real, this is dope to see and I hope Ratatouille is the next Pixar film to hit Criterion.

Turns out this is just a one-off

In other news, all the Rossellini history films are excellent

i picked up Trainspotting 4K day one. I think i'm finally going to get the Jacques Demy collection, even though they're always on the channel.

i ended up giving my dad my bruce lee collection as a gift.

Damn, didn't realize how much this thread was collecting dust until now. My wallet is fighting for its life right now but I'm there for the next sale. May just have to settle with the channel sub until then.

I'm surprised 'Synecdoche, New York' hasn't got a Criterion release yet. The OG 'Beau is Afraid'. Supposedly has a 4K, but I'm really trying to get more behind-the-scenes extras, any commentary with Kaufman and the late Phillip Seymour Hoffman.

That's really dope. You've inspired me to do the same for my pops. Not sure which title yet though.
