You brothers hitting up these day parties? DuPont Circle got a bunch of them going on. I’m 40+, but these 20 something chicks were choosing at Barcode last weekend.
I’m an ATL transplant, but there is absolutely nothing like summer in the DMV.
From the SW waterfront, Old Towne, Georgetown water front, U street, H Street, National Harbor, Silver Springs etc.
If you can’t enjoy yourself during the summer in the DMV, you might as well give up.

Oh I’ve been here going on a decade. Probably will relocate back to ATL at some point because my fam and most of my friends are there, but I have really enjoyed living here.
I ordered delivery during the lockdown. Planning on hitting it up in person soon.

Police responded to Ritchie Station Court around 10:15 p.m. Saturday night. They said a large group of teens was hanging out there and there had been an argument. King was found dead at the scene, and a second 13-year-old had been stabbed.
Police said Monday that the 12-year-old boy from D.C. accused of shooting King later came forward with his mother and confessed to the crime. Police said he claims his friend handed him the gun during when the fight broke out. He’s being charged as a juvenile and has not been identified.

The growth in city/area is crazy though....I just realized there tryna turn noma/north cap in downtown 2.0, not to mention there still building up h st, eastern market, anacostia even the upper part of ga ave around walter reed... even walter reed itself about to be a whole community.....also heard those new townhomes they built by suitland station on silver hill got bought up ASAP....

Hopefully those Suitland townhomes got bought up by mostly Black folks. Can’t tell you how disgusted I’ll be seeing a bunch of Cacs walking around Suitland Rd, Silver Hill Rd, Tooley St., etc like shyt’s sweet
As far as I know, most Cacs around here in the DMV are still kinda scared of PG County, most especially VA Cacs lmao And yeah, they’ve been tryna turn that part of NE into Downtown 2.0 for the last 10 years. Last time I went to the H St. Festival, they still had that lil strip mall over there where the DTLR used to be at. North Cap still kinda grungy and a lil grimey tho but it’s a lot more chill than it used to be. I still wanna hit up that Jamaican carryout that’s over there too. I think it’s called Jam Doung’s or something.
I’m still shocked at what The Wharf looks like now….My reaction when I visited it for the first time in hella years back in 2019 was like
