I had to stop at the store and get some rations, got price gouged by some girl scouts for a box of samoas. damn thangs was $5 but they were black so i bought em anyways

Lol, Gallery was the natural meeting point of all teens of all four quadrants. Naturally they were gonna clean that shyt up. Hell, the Chinese are barely holding on and that’s supposed to be Chinatown.

I’ll be honest, DC would look weird as fukk with skyscrapers. It’s too small plus a lot of the charm comes from the fact that it’s a lot of classic architecture that dominates the look of the city. Maybe in outlying places in Silver Spring, Rosslyn, National Harbor, etc.

Ima keep saying this shyt, a real worthy high speed rail system in the mid-Atlantic would balance things out and curb the displacement. If the commute was doable, a lot of these cacs would move to places like Hagerstown, Cumberland, Eastern Shore, Leonardtown/La Plata, Richmond, Petersburg, VA Beach, but without that it forces everyone to cram into the DC Metro area.
